🌿 UV DTF Transfer Design & Image Guidelines

Please read before ordering to ensure the best print results.

✅ File Requirements

  • File type: Transparent PNG only (.png)

  • Resolution: 300 DPI (or higher), sized exactly as you want printed (or larger)

  • Do NOT mirror your artwork – we mirror automatically.

  • Remove backgrounds before submitting if you don’t want them printed.

  • White ink prints: If your image has a white box around it, it will print.

  • Lines must be at least 0.02pt thick to transfer properly.

  • Fonts must be converted to curves and flattened.

🎨 Colour Information

  • We do not check or match colours.

  • CMYK colour mode recommended.

  • We are not responsible for colour differences between screens and final prints.

⚠️ Artwork Details to Check

  • Fine print: Text under 0.35 inches tall may not print or transfer well.

  • Tiny details may not adhere. Add a stroke or thicken fine lines for best results.

  • No transparency, gradients, or drop shadows. These do not print as shown on your screen.

  • Check edge quality: Pixelated edges will print as a white outline.

🚫 Copyright & Trademark Policy

  • We cannot print trademarked or copyrighted images (Disney, NFL, brands, etc.) without written permission.

  • Screenshots, watermarked, or stolen images will not be printed.

  • Orders containing these will be cancelled and refunded.

We reserve the right to cancel orders with images or phrases inappropriate for children.

All transfers are printed to order; therefore, we cannot accept returns or exchanges.

🌿 How to Apply UV DTF Transfers

✨ UV Direct-to-Film (DTF) decals allow you to easily transfer vibrant, detailed designs onto hard surfaces without the need for a heat press or special equipment.

Perfect for cups, mugs, laptops, water bottles, phone cases, and most hard surfaces you wish to personalise.

These decals are weather-resistant and scratch-resistant, but we do not recommend using them in the dishwasher or microwave to maintain longevity.

🛠️ What You’ll Need:

✅ Your UV DTF transfer
✅ Lint-free cloth
✅ Rubbing alcohol
✅ Plastic squeegee/card (credit card works well)

✨ Step-by-Step: How to Apply UV DTF Decals

1️⃣ Clean the Surface

  • Wipe the application area with rubbing alcohol and a lint-free cloth to remove dust, dirt, oil, and residue.

  • Allow the surface to air dry completely before applying your decal.

2️⃣ Peel the Backing

  • Carefully peel the white backing paper off the decal, ensuring the design remains on the clear transfer sheet.

  • Avoid touching the adhesive side of the decal to prevent fingerprints or reducing stickiness.

3️⃣ Position the Decal

  • Carefully align and position your decal on the surface.

  • Starting from the center of the design and working outward, use your fingers or a plastic card to smooth out the decal, removing any bubbles or wrinkles as you go.

4️⃣ Apply Firm Pressure

  • Use your fingertips or a card to firmly rub over the entire decal, ensuring a strong bond between the transfer and your surface.

  • Take your time; firm pressure is key to good adhesion.

5️⃣ Remove the Clear Carrier Sheet

  • Slowly peel away the clear transfer (carrier) sheet, pulling at a sharp angle.

  • If any part of the decal lifts, lay the carrier sheet back down and rub firmly over the area again before retrying.

  • Continue peeling until the clear sheet is fully removed, leaving your vibrant design perfectly applied.

💡 Tips for Best Results:

✅ Apply UV DTF decals at room temperature for optimal adhesion.
✅ Avoid washing for 24 hours after application to allow the adhesive to fully cure.
✅ For curved surfaces (like tumblers), apply the decal in small sections to prevent wrinkles.
✅ Avoid submerging in water for extended periods to maintain adhesion over time.

⚠️ Important Reminders:

  • UV DTF decals adhere best to smooth, hard surfaces.

  • Hand wash only to preserve the life of your decal.

  • These decals are not suitable for fabrics or flexible surfaces.
